The Clear Poly Peel is a lightening peel formulated to create a synergy between the mixed acids, ensuring that each specific property can interconnect in a multifunctional working network. The exfoliating and hydrating activities of glycolic and lactic acids have been associated with the illuminating and depigmenting actions of Aburtina , a glycoside extracted from the bearberry plant of the Arctostaphylos genus , which blocks the enzymatic activity of tyrosinase, inhibiting the production of melanin, responsible for the darkening of the skin and cause of the formation of skin blemishes. The lightening action is also assisted by Azelaic acid and Salicylic acid , which combine not only the keratolytic action but also the anti-inflammatory and bacteriostatic action. Hexapeptide-9 is an anti-aging hexapeptide capable of reducing wrinkles by increasing the synthesis of collagen and other important skin proteins. It also improves skin regeneration. Argireline , a lifting, firming and relaxing “Botox like” hexapeptide, also has an anti-aging action, reducing the appearance of the signs of aging. The formulation is completed by antioxidant and protective red grape extract, anti-inflammatory and repairing yarrow extract, and calluna vulgaris extract, also known as heather extract, astringent and soothing. This set of molecules creates a functional gradient starting from the deepest layers of the skin to the most superficial ones where, thanks to its exfoliating, hydrating, nourishing and regenerating activities, they give it a brighter, smoother and more uniform appearance.
