The water-soluble Vitamin C (sodium ascorbyl phosphate) contained in MAKROPEEL® protects the skin through its antioxidant properties, as well as lightening skin blemishes and being an effective buffer for some components of the solution such as Mandelic Acid .

Malic acid belonging to the Alpha Hydroxic category, is one of the main organic acids contained in fruit, has exfoliating and antioxidant properties, promoting the process of eliminating dead cells from the epidermis and stimulating the turnover of new cells; furthermore, malic acid stimulates the production of collagen, thus promoting skin hydration, as well as having the ability to increase water retention in the stratum corneum, thus rehydrating the epidermis.
