IGF-1 or insulin-like growth factor 1 has amino acids similar to those of proinsulin, improves insulin sensitivity and increases the metabolism of proteins and carbohydrates, helps stop glucose from entering cells and transform fat into energy. IGF-1 stimulates cell growth, leading to the formation of new tissue and inhibits cell death.
As it is highly anabolic, it increases protein synthesis and promotes cell growth in the muscle and prevents aging. Sodium deoxycholate from bile salts acts as a solvent to improve the solubility of phosphatidylcholine in water. It has surfactant properties on the phospholipids of the membrane, creating micellization and destructuring of the membrane, increasing adipocytolysis and emulsification of lipids.

L-carnitine is well known for helping burn stored fat and turn it into energy during physical activity. L-carinitine is a fat carrier, it attaches to the fatty acid and brings it into the mitochondrial matrix and converts fat into energy; the rate at which fat is deposited also decreases.
