The intense research activity that Mauro Carratelli has conducted over the last 20 years has led to the development of a series of tests for the evaluation of oxidative stress, now gathered in the Carratelli Panel. The Carratelli Panel is the integrated analytical approach that allows for a global evaluation of the oxidative balance through the execution of complementary tests and is made up of 13 tests. The tests can be divided into two groups, namely those dedicated to the evaluation of the pro-oxidant state and those dedicated to the evaluation of the antioxidant state and are applicable in the Human, Veterinary and Agri-food sectors.
